In Memory of Shaun Wendt & recovery for his little family

On Wednesday 4 December, Shaun Wendt passed away suddenly leaving behind his beloved wife Monica and their two much loved sons, Rhys and Max.

Shaun was a quiet, kind man, with a great sense of humour who was liked by everyone he had contact with.

The family are devastated at the sudden loss of Shaun. This is compounded by the fact that their Otford home remains uninhabitable after having a gum tree crush it nearly three years ago.

There have been challenges with the insurance company in restoring the house and paying for alternative accommodation. Their current rental is not confirmed moving forward and the family face uncertainty about accommodation moving into January.

It will take time to sort out the financials and re-adjust to life as a one income family.
