On July 29, 2019 our dear friend Lianne lost her childhood sweetheart and Husband of 19 years, suddenly and unexpectedly at the young age of 43. Shaun was a loving father to his 3 children, Mikayla (21), Matthew (18), and Ethan (11). He was a beloved son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and a dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all that new and loved him.
Shaun was a man of many talents and supported his family with his Local Contracting business. He coached his son Ethan’s Minor League Football team, spent his spare time providing mentorship to its young players and volunteered his time to support The Langley Minor Football Club.
He was the kind of man that would go out of his way to help people in need, even with his last act helping to save the life of a woman who nearly drowned at Hayward Lake a mere 48 hours before passing away. Shaun Nugent was the very definition of friendship and self sacrifice. Going out of his way to make anyone feel welcome. He has left a very large space in each of our hearts that can never be replaced.
No one should have to suffer financial hardship while grieving the loss of a husband and father. It is our intention to alleviate some of that hardship.
Many of you have asked how you can help, well this how. We have set up this page in response to the outpouring of requests for how you can support Lianne and the kids at this most difficult time.
We do this now in honor of Shaun, because it is absolutely what he would have done for anyone in need.
All funds will go directly to Lianne and the kids.
