Hi Everyone. My name is Andrea Truitt and I am the writer soon to be published author of the three-book series, Shattering Shame. God put a dream in my heart and it has been a challenging journey to get here with lots of opposition. After seven years I have completed my manuscript.

Shattering Shame is a true story about overcoming sexual abuse and domestic violence. My dream is to bring awareness, much-needed conversations, and faith-based resources beginning in my own backyard. The target audience is local schools, churches, and community events. This will be done with workshops, seminars, and coaching created from the book content and collaborating with others. The book is just the beginning but it is a crucial springboard in opening the door to reach others.

There are already some events in place based on my faith that I will raise the income to pay for the editing and marketing tools.

I have a quote of $2800 for the editing from an excellent, industry-respected publishing group. In addition to that, I will have the expenses of building the website, creating the audiobook, and paying for my copies of the published book. All funds raised will go towards these goals.
