Hi! My friend Patti trained and worked hard to enter the MR 340, a kayak race on the Missouri River. Patti, lives on $20,000 a year and managed to save and buy her kayak. Wow was she so proud of it!
After, day one she made it 75 miles in 12 hours. Amazing!!!!! Her ground crew wasn’t feeling well. So, Patti being Patti decided to load up and stay at a hotel in Columbia, MO bringing herself and her ground crew home.
The next morning she learned someone had stolen her kayak. Holiday Inn has one camera that points at the ground so nothing was captured. Patti has liability only on her truck and has no way to replace this.
I cried when I saw her post. Patti is ONE OF A KIND!!! I know her from the Bonne Terre Senior Center where she helps EVERYONE!!! For the seniors who don’t drive Patti will drive to them to doctors appointments, deliver groceries. She is kind, considerate & just good people.
