My name is John Severson, Vice President of the Shasta Veterans Escort, a non-profit. We provide motorcycle funeral escorts and cemetery flaglines for deceased veterans and their families.

Fred Loveland, Shasta County Cremains Officer and supporter of many veterans' causes, is the proud owner of the Wounded at War 1934 Ford coupe. The Wounded at War '34 is the primary vehicle used by the Shasta Veterans Escort to carry the urns of deceased veterans to their final resting place at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery and other locations. Over the past 20 years, Fred has generously donated the use of his car at his own significant expense.

The Wounded at War '34 is currently in need of major repairs, to include engine and transmission. Fred has driven the '34 for years without air conditioning so this will be added, along with several major engine parts. This GoFundMe account has been established to defray these costs so Fred can continue to honor our veterans by escorting their urns to their final resting place.
