Our lifelong friend Sharpie is facing the hardest battle of his life. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and since his diagnosis, he has also broken his femur due to fragile bones caused by the cancer causing him even more discomfort and pain. While he is bravely fighting every single day, the weight of household bills and daily living expenses can be overwhelming.

Alongside hospital care through the brilliant NHS, Sharpie is also pursuing alternative treatments that give him hope and strength, but these come at a significant cost. Every donation will go directly toward his care, therapies, and essential expenses during this critical time.

To support him, we're taking on the “Sharpie Tour de 4” 100km cycle challenge, named in honor of cycling legend Chris Hoy's cycling event, to help raise at least £10,000. The rides will take place throughout October, It will be either 2 x 50km rides or 1 x 100km ride for the more experienced riders, this event is for everyone just simply log you miles you've done throughout October or Join in on the group rides. but this is not just about the ride, it’s about showing Sharpie that he’s not alone in this fight, and rallying together to give him and his family the support they desperately need.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Sharpie is also the devoted father of Daughter Holly, who needs her dad more than ever. Our goal in starting this fundraiser is to relieve as much financial stress as possible so he can focus fully on his healing and on creating precious memories with his daughter.

We’ve been friends our whole lives, and we’ve seen the strength, kindness, and love he brings to everyone around him. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
