The Sharon vs Breast Cancer Fund

On April 14th of this year, my mom, Sharon Harmon, found a  lump in her breast.  She had just started a new job that very week, and talking about getting engaged with her boyfriend sometime this year.   Intitial testing indicated the tumor had a 98% chance of of being malignant.  Cory and my Mom decided it best to get married sooner than later.  They planned a small wedding in two weeks, while he was on the road working.  Three days after the wedding, a biopsy confirmed my mom had Nottingham Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in her left breast.  Grade 3 is the most aggressive on the scale.  Their first big challenge in marraige is already here.  My mom has had numerous testing, surgery for placement of a chemo port, and radiological  scans.  The bills are adding up fast, with thousands of dollars in deductables and out-of-pocket costs.  She began chemotherapy on June 3rd, and will continue treatment for four months. After chemotherapy is complete, she will undergo breast surgery followed by 6 to 8 weeks of daily radiation therapy.  The chemo treatments drain her of energy, along with other unpleasant side effects, so she has had to drastically cut back on working, and will of course be out for surgery.  All this, and I'm just starting college at ASU in August!   My family would be most grateful for any prayers or donations...  even a small contribution helps.  My mom, Sharon, lost her own mother to breast cancer when she was just a little girl. I never got to meet my Grandmother, and I don't want to lose my mom. It would mean a lot if some of our stress were to be eased so she can get past the burden, and on to winning the battle....  Thank you so much for your love and  support.
