Hello Everyone,

I am Ashley Collins, the daughter of Sharon Linn Stanfield. These past few years have been so extremely hard on my beautiful mother. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and beat it! She was also diagnosed with CMT last year and has a rare gene mutation (ATM GENE). Unfortunately, now she has lung cancer and it is rapidly spreading, and her doctors are not giving her any options for treatment here in Kentucky. She has reached out to MD Anderson in Texas as she had to do previously with her breast cancer. They were absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about all her history and the rarity of her case. They are working hard to get her into their schedule ASAP to get her a second opinion. A second chance at life, a second chance to see her grandchildren grow up, a second chance to do whatever it is she wants to do before the good Lord calls her home. She is currently on a fixed income with no savings and no means of getting to Texas without our help. It would mean the absolute world to our family if you could help us get her to Texas and to help pay for any expenses that may arise. I know times are tough for a lot of us right now, so if you cannot donate money, please share this post as much as you can, and maybe we can get enough to get her the care and treatment she deserves. I love my mommy so much, and I know a lot of others do too, and I would love more than anything to keep her around forever.
