Sharon’s Cancer Battle - Give her a break ❤️
My lovely friend Sharon has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine carsinoma, which is an incurable rare form of cancer. Which has now affected most of her body.
Sharon now finds herself in a position where, despite her illness, she is having to work additional hours to pay cover all her bills while she is off work undergoing treatment. she has already used up all her holidays and is not entitled to sick pay due to her not being in her current employment long enough, so any time she needs to take off is now unpaid.
A brief story of her illness is here .....
Upon going for an eye test earlier this year because her sight was blurry Sharon was sent to have an abnormality checked at hospital.. The results came through and she was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer that a lot of surgeons and consultants haven’t seen before , her own surgeon has only ever seeing 20 cases of this in his career .
She has now learned that the primary site is in her bowel , and has now spread to her liver, lungs and bones , and there is activity in her left breast and and in her skull
There are only 8 people in every hundred thousand get this form of cancer, it is now feeding off her hormones so she is now having octreotide injections to kill the hormones off so to shrink the tumours as this cancer sadly isn’t curable.
Anything you can afford to donate will be very very gratefully received .... Thank you so much xxxxx
