It goes without saying that Sharon Buck is San Francisco royalty. She's an invaluable member of our community, always bringing her energy and enthusiasm to every event she's involved with. You'd be hard pressed to find ANYONE who doesn't LOVE Sharon, she's funny as hell, totally unique, an absolutely amazing DJ and she's one of the best friends you could ever hope to have.

Right now she could really use a helping hand from the community she's given so much to over the years. On Monday, August 3rd, Sharon came home from a weekend trip to Los Angeles to discover that there had been a fire in her apartment. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but she's having to cover all costs up front, including legal fees. She lost priceless original art and there was considerable smoke damage. She's been temporarily relocated while work is done on the burned out apartment. As if that wasn't bad enough, on Thursday, August 6th her car was broken into, and two of the windows were smashed out.

Sharon has done so much for the art and music scene in San Francisco over the years, and she's been a solid friend to everyone along the way. If every one of her friends threw down $5 to $20 she could get through this rough patch and get back up on her feet. And if you can give a little more, please do. Every little bit of this money will be so helpful to our number one Buck!

P.S. Everybody's favorite Frenchie, Dixon Buck lost all of his cool costumes and doggie stuff in the fire. A portion of this fund will be given to Dixon, because he's adorable.
