Sharon's Care

Donation protected
My wife of 55 years has Parkinson's and according to her doctors she is beyond the expected life span for the disease by 7 to 8 yrs. and I credit this longevity to her care.  I have been her 24/7 caregiver since we brought her home from care facility in 2015.  She is a 1 person assist, that is she need assistance to do any thing,  she uses a walker with assistance and a transport wheel chair.  She is now under the umbrella of hospice.  for the last 6 months I have had 2 caregivers  a week at a cost of $400 per week ($1600) one weekend per month at cost of $200 taking into account of the previous cost per one day of the weekend. and 1200 for 6 days off respite care every 5  to 6 weeks depending on scheduling.  total cost is about $300 per month.   So far I have been able to afford this by refinancing my house 3 times in the last 18 months but now I have taken all the equity I can out of the house.  So unless I get some relief my next step is to sell the house move away from where I live , away from our grand children, daughter and soninlaw.  I have worked hard to get to where we are (firefighter for 26+ years and retired on a disability)  only to now lose everything we have ever work for.  so I ask you please to help me top keep her comfortable with what ever time she has left and in her own home and familiar surroundings
Thanks and God bless
Jim
This funding will go into an account for her to be used only for her thanks
