I never would have thought I’d be doing this a second time but here I am. In July 2021, my sister and best friend, Sharon Veronica Goode was diagnosed with cancer. On January 11, 2023, 5 weeks after losing her oldest daughter, Amber Jenae Martinez, my sister passed away. I’m fundraising to give my sister the most beautiful service she deserves. She was the best sister to me in the 57 years I had her. We had our ups and downs but we always stayed connected. I will never have a best friend like her.
