Our beautiful, kind and brave mum, Sharon, passed away peacefully on the 26th June holding both mine and Charlotte’s hand, exactly 22 years to the day after we lost our brother Adam - also to cancer.
Our Mum spent the final four weeks of her life in St Catherine’s Hospice, which was always what she had said she wanted when the time came. We can now understand why she wanted this.
The level of care was exceptional & we can’t thank the staff enough for the way they cared for not just our Mum but for me & Charlotte also.
One of the things that made our final days with our Mum bearable was St Catherine’s & their staff. We will be forever grateful for everything they did for Mum and our family, and that is why we’ve decided not to except flowers for mums funeral but instead a donation to St Catherine’s would mean a lot to us all ❤️
