Dearly beloved, we have gathered here together to help our dear friend, Sharon, out with some upcoming traveling. Sharon has been on a journey to get a neurotransmitter or spinal cord stimulator. If you're unfamiliar with what that is, here's a brief tidbit of information on them.
A spinal cord stimulator is a pain management tool to help assist people that don't want to take a lot of medicine. It's wiring that goes into your spine along with a battery that the patient charges above their skin. This stimulator essentially tricks the brain into thinking there's less pain than there is by utilizing electricity via the leads (wires) anchored into the spinal cord. It's been proven effective for people who need pain management permanently.
Sharon has endured a lot over the last few years, all the while supporting and volunteering to help other people in need. And now is the time for us to help her.
Sharon has found a doctor in NJ who is willing to do a consult and potentially the surgery to implant the spinal cord stimulator. This will be incredibly expensive and they need help getting there for not just the first trip, but the second along with a possible third for a follow-up post-op.
So now I turn this over to you, the friends and family she has poured into and helped. The ones that she has been a support and helper to those in need. She deserves the love and kindness shown to her that she's exhibited to others. Even if you can only donate $5, it's 5 more dollars to help her get what she desperately needs. She deserves so much. But most of all, she deserves to have a quality of life that allows her to enjoy life with minimal pain.
Thank you to those who are willing to help. And thank you, Sharon, for all the love you have given others. It's our turn to take care of you! ❤️
