Sharon LaVallee & Lee Richards

Im not sure where to even begin. Some of you may know, but about 2 weeks ago Matt’s dad passed away. Before he passed he was in the ICU unresponsive for about a week. A miracle happened he was able to go to a rehab facility and then had heart failure and was taken back to the CICU. Throughout this whole process Sharon (Matts Stepmom) has drove an hour back and forth to be there with him. His last few days Sharon was continuously with him until the end. Last weekend Matt and I went to see Sharon and to go through some of Lees things. When we were leaving to head home, we asked Sharon if she would be okay & she said “don’t worry about me I have my house and my dogs, ill be okay”. This morning after working all night, she got a call from the police department telling her, that her house had burnt to the ground and all 4 of her dogs died in the fire. All she has now are the clothes on her back, which is her work uniform. Due to the unfortunate series of events these last couple months, she was unable to afford the insurance and her home owners insurance had lapsed. In the span of less than 3 weeks she has lost Lee, her home, and her dogs. I can’t imagine the burden that has been placed upon her. Sharon is one of the kindest, loving and most forgiving people I know. She would give anyone the shirt off her back. Many stray animals have found a home with her. All of her animals have been rescued from all kinds of situations. Sharon has no place to live. We are creating this fundraiser to help her get back on her feet. Anything helps. Sharon deserves it.
