Hi, I'm Catherine and my Mum died suddenly Monday. She had been going through chemo for a triple negative breast cancer recurrence. She was doing great. She had a history of being unwell after chemo with low white cells. She ended up in hospital but recovered great. Just not safe to let home as white cells seriously low and 0.9. They accidentally then gave her chemo again and 2 days later white cell count 0 and she became unwell with sepsis, confused mimicking dementia (my mum didn't have dementia), in and out of consciousness, bad sickness

Moved to icu, sick on transfer. Deemed not safe by Dr for head scan. New Dr came on shift, didn't read her notes to see she'd been sick. Sent her for head ct scan and she was sick, aspirated and went into cardiac arrest. He intubated her wrongly so no oxygen which gave her bad damage to her brain. The CT scan she'd had minutes before came back for a healthy brain. I had to turn her machine off instead of bringing her home.

I'm a single Mum with a 7 year old little boy. I can't afford a funeral. My Mum had took out a small life insurance last May after a small heart attack to help myself and my son out. I can't claim it as she died 2 months short of it maturing.

We lived together my whole life. I've now got to somehow take over all the bills, rent, some debts my Mum had

Please can you donate anything you can afford just to help with Mums cremation please. I feel I've failed her and I can't eat, sleep or stop the guilt about her not being here
