Sharon Felts is a paraprofessional at Poynter Elementary. She was diagnosed with a viral infection (Guillain-Barre Syndrome) that is causing paralysis in her whole body. She has been in the ICU for over 10 days now, and she has to work to be able to support herself.

She lives alone and helps her daughter and grandson out with her paycheck. She is facing a long recovery, months of therapy and huge medical expenses that she does not have the means to cover.  She has been off work for over 2 weeks, and she has not been paid for the time she has missed.

Please help a teacher that gives so much to her students and fellow staff members!
