Sharon Duffy

We have recently found out that our Sharon is a pretty sick girl, she has been diagnosed with liver cancer.  Sharon had not been feeling well for quite some time but was able to function. She unfortunately had been misdiagnosed with what she thought were manageable issues however as time went on she had begun feeling worse which led to hearing the horrible word, Cancer.  Sharon and Tracy have been preparing to move their home on to our parents property through saving and doing things as they could afford but in the last couple of weeks she has become too ill to work and the load has moved to Tracy, which she will say that she is fine with but there is a lot yet to happen in order for Sharon and Tracy’s dream to be achieved.   She has been fortunate and knows some pretty wonderful people whom have helped prepare the property but there is so much more that will need to be completed.  Bills don't go away because you are sick and we know that frequent trips and the likelihood of extended stays at Dartmouth have happened and will continue.  While I know they are pretty proud people Sharon, Tracy, and of course her son Kyle will need help from all of us.  Many have already asked and offered to help but I just don't know what to tell them as while this is so new it is moving along pretty fast.  Sharon has always been there for her family and friends and has also helped many people that she did not know through her time as a member of the Morrisville Rescue Team.  Her love for dogs is very well known and due to that she had become a dog catcher, not to take someone's dog away, but to make sure they were safe and taken care of.  I have decided on setting up the GoFundMe to open up the opportunity for those whom wish to help to do so. They know so many people that I don't and unfortunately this will be how many will find out and for that I am sorry.  Please share this post where you believe appropriate.
