Hi, my name is Raechel, and I’m fundraising for my mom’s funeral expenses. I’ve never done anything like this before, and I didn’t ever think I’d have to. My mom, Sharon Carpenter, died on early in the morning of February 11 after a long fight with dementia. She was such an amazing person: bright, funny (kind of a smart ass, really), caring. She loved animals. I lost track of how many dogs and cats she rescued and either kept or rehomed (I still have 4 of her cats!) She was always busy, and loved baking (but not cooking!), old WW2 movies, and British mystery novels.

My brother, Josh, and I are both having a difficult time financially right now. I’m on LTD for anxiety issues. Josh works 60+ hours a week to support his family of five, We’re both having trouble making ends meet, and the funeral is going to be difficult to manage. We’d both be deeply appreciative of any help you can give us to bury our mother. Thank you.
