- Dear friends and family of Sharon Brockway , It is with deep sadness that we are sharing these recent events. During the night of September 10th Sharon was found seizuring and unresponsive. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Unfortunately she never regained consciousness. Initial tests showed brain damage as well as brain swelling. Sadly further testing determined there was no longer enough brain activity to sustain life without the use of life support. In order to carry out Sharon's wish of organ donation, the difficult decision was made to delay the disconnection of life support until September 14th at 1:00 pm. At which time doctors will begin the procedure that has the potential to save as many as 3 lives. Unfortunately Sharon did not have insurance to help pay for her final expenses and these costs fall solely to her only daughter Denise Sonnefeldt. In order for Denise to be able to give her Mother a fitting memorial we are graciously accepting donations. Donations can be made here or to avoid fees may also be made directly to the family via Zelle or Cash App. Any donation, no matter the amount will help. All donations will be greatly appreciated at this difficult time and will help to provide Sharon's loved ones the opportunity to find comfort in each other while they honor her life and say their final goodbyes. The family would like to thank everyone who has prayed and shared kind words of support during this very difficult time. Details of services will be announced as they are made.
