Hi .My name is Violet(Vylette) Murray and im fundraising to help my sister and her husband
Back in the summer of this year ,2025, my sister's wonderful husband John was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma cancer. Unfortunately, many folks know firsthand, that Cancer creates a very stressful life that robs you of so much in such a short time. It’s very hard to watch someone you love go through the motions, so I cant even image the devastation of actually living through the battle of cancer. I find people dealing with the effects of Cancer put on a strong persona so not to burden those around them. Such as thr case here ,even when nobody notices because of the curtain of smiles it hides behind. Well for this sweet couple, it’s happening right now. What makes it even harder is that they are both in their senior years, live almost 2 hours from the cancer facility and currently are trying to cope and just get through everyday life. Anyone who knows my sister Sharon, knows she is a very kind helpful individual and never asks for help ...ever ... So, I am doing the asking. John is a gentle soul and a very giving man who many of you have met over the years or have gotten the pleasure of being part of his life. John and Sharon are staying hopeful and will fight through this battle as the chapters unfold but are holding on gracefully and silently. John has been fighting the cancer with treatments and was admitted into the U of A Cross cancer institute recently where he stayed for a month. Sharon, strong and steady, ensured John was not alone and was by his side each and everyday to be there through a very terrifying fight. John was finally sent home where he is more comfortable but unfortunately his battle is far from over . It saddens me to see this my sister and her hubby with these financial worries when the disease is stressful enough, not to mention the obstacles life throws at you everyday. All the cost of living, fuel for doctor visits and so on, add up faster then one thinks and that is why I’m gracefully asking for some support for them. Please help or share if you are able. Thank you in advance for everyone’s kindness and prayers for John as he navigates through this debilitating disease, also for any help you may provide. It does not go unnoticed and is so greatly appreciated. Much Love, Hugs and Thanks to you all.
