On the evening of 6/18/20 my little brother had just got home & began to get settled in to relax for the evening. After helping my mom get squared away (because she has a cast on her foot :-/), he laid down but not for too long because he started to smell smoke. He checked around the house but didn't find anything on fire. He got up a second time to check because the odor began to get stronger, to no avail he located an area of smoke in their home. After making sure my mother exited the home safely he realized the fire was not in their home but in their neighbors home so he attempted to rescue the neighbor from his home by entering the unit & searching & yelling from him! After he received no response he finally exited the home to wait for the outcome...By God's grace & mercy, no one was in the complex BUT due to the smoke & water damage & a hole being drilled in their roof, my mother & brother have lost everything, including a place to call home right now. If you find it in your heart to donate to them monetarily, it would be greatly appreciated! PLEASE don't stop mentioning them in your prayers as well! They are still shook up, yet slowly but surely trying to piece things back together. My family appreciates you from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you in advance & God bless!
