Help Rebuild Sharon Alvey’s Life After a Tragic Attack

On Friday, October 10th, our family experienced a tragedy we could never have imagined. Sharon Alvey, my girlfriend’s mother, was viciously attacked by our family’s Pitbull. The attack left her with devastating injuries — she lost her nose and ears, suffered a broken arm, and will need multiple reconstructive surgeries to heal physically and emotionally.

During the chaos, an officer responding to the emergency was forced to stop the attack, and tragically, a stray bullet struck Sharon as well. Thankfully, she survived, but she now faces a long and painful road to recovery.

Right now, Sharon is in the hospital undergoing surgeries to stabilize her injuries. Once she’s strong enough, she’ll need extensive facial reconstruction, skin grafts, and rehabilitation. Insurance won’t cover everything, and the costs for her medical care, travel, and long-term recovery are overwhelming.
