Sharonda's Medical/Living Expenses

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sharonda Williams.  I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal/colon cancer (stage 4 being the worst).  I was told that it has a 60%-75% survival rate. I’m 41 years old and I have my BSHS degree in Human Services.

I’m a very loving and kind person.  I’m a Humanitarian at heart who also loves animals.   I work with children and young adults with Autism and other special needs.  I tutor kids in the afternoons as well. I recently started taking CNA classes on the weekends, but have been struggling to finish my clinical hours due to my recent health issues. I’ve also been missing a lot of work and this has hurt me financially.  My goal is to get better, then go back to school to get a degree in Nursing.

I’ve recently been hit with so much adversity.  I pray that God will give me the strength to overcome this tremendous burden and heartache.  I will soon be doing 5 days a week of Radiation and Chemotherapy once every other week for the next 2-3 months to shrink the malignant mass. Then I’ll have the surgery to remove it and start the process over again of Chemotherapy to kill any remaining Cancer cells.

The doctors want me to get some Genetic testing which could range anywhere from $3,000 - $10,000. I’m not sure if my insurance will cover this. I would also like to get Holistic Adjunct treatments - pasadenanaturalhealth.com ,  which will cost $300 for the initial visit (this will NOT be covered by my insurance).  This therapy will be ongoing before, during and after my radiation and chemotherapy sessions.  In addition to that, I will need to buy certain foods for my diet.  I will need financial support for monthly bills and deductible/out of pocket medical expenses.

Whatever dollar amount you can contribute, be it $1 or $100, will greatly help me & my family through this difficult time.  If you’re unable to donate, we just as much appreciate you sharing this with your friends and social media followers, keeping me in your prayers and sending good vibes out into the universe. We’re all thanking God for my healing.

We thank each and every single one of you for donating, sharing and praying or simply reading this and my story. Please return to this page for updates about my progress. We are all hopeful.

May God continue to bless you all.
