Sharla was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to her liver. She will have surgery on Tuesday, Feb 15th, to remove the tumor from her colon. She will be in the hospital for several days. Sharla will then have a port placed and begin chemotherapy.

Sharla is kind and giving. She loves her friends and family and her community. But most of all, Sharla loves the Lord. I know He is where she will draw her strength from to get through each day of this trial, but if we can support her financially during this time, it will be one less burden for her to carry. Thankfully, Sharla has fantastic friends and family who have offered their time and energy to keep Sharla's Selectables up and running while undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, it is likely that her husband, Todd, will have to miss work to take her to appointments. All of the donations will help offset missed time at work, traveling for treatments, and for medical expenses (such as deductibles) that will start piling up.
