Rolling Fork Donations to Tornado Victims

Hi- I’m Teresa Jones. I’m finishing my last year in law school at Ole Miss & I’m a Sharkey County native.
I went to school in Rolling Fork and ran a nonprofit for girls there. Many of my family, friends, & former teachers, still live there and are devastated by this tornado.
Im coordinating these efforts with Vice Mayor Ladonna Sias, Alderwoman Carolyn Washington, and Kayla Ivory (a community leader and co-founder of our nonprofit). Kayla will receive withdrawals and assist Vice Mayor Sias and an alder woman Washington with disbursements to the community. This fundraiser is to get resources to the families who've been devastated by this tragic loss. We plan to use the resources for
- Direct donations to families who've lost their loved ones.
- Assisting displaced children and families receiving basic necessities like clothes, food, and water;
- Assisting families with relocation /temporary placement efforts; and
