SharkBots attend 2023 FIRST World Championship!

It’s official…SharkBots will attend the 2023 FIRST World Championship!

A little bit about us…

We are team SharkBots #14903, with our HQ at the French-American School of NY in Mamaroneck, NY. We are a motivated group of 12 students from four different high schools in Westchester County. Since September 2022, we have been working passionately on our robot design, coding, and performance. We share our passion for STEM with our communities both locally and internationally.

NY Excelsior FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Inspire Award!

On March 5th, our team won the Inspire Award at the New York - Excelsior Utica Championship. We gave it our best shot through hard work, collaboration, and a far-reaching outreach program. And it paid off!

The judges selected the SharkBots for the Inspire Award, which recognizes the best overall performance among the region’s top 28 teams. As a result, we advanced to the FIRST World Championship in Houston (https://www.firstchampionship.org) taking place on April 19-22, where we will represent the New York State Excelsior region and compete with 192 FTC teams from around the world!!

We kindly ask for your support to help us cover:

● Registration fee for the FIRST World Championship

● Transportation of robot, spare parts, and materials for our pit

● Meals and transportation during the championship

● Any additional funds will be directed to our local and international outreach programs.
