4 Years ago I had an accident on stage (retired sword swallower) that wiped out my savings and forced me to quit my 30 year career. (Yes, I stabbed myself with a sword.) I moved to Colorado to work for a Non-Profit where my RV was stolen with almost everything I own. I managed to make it back to CA. with some help, but stupidly sold my vehicle to fund a robot for an International competition but have not been paid the promised & contracted fee for it. That payment is almost a year late so I doubt I will ever get it. Now I have no vehicle, no decent clothes, no savings and the place I have been living has been sold. I have to be out in 3 weeks and have no place to go and nothing to move in. I do have a commitment to appear on an Internationally Televised competition in April so I desperately need a truck to load up my tools, my robot Shark & my meager belongings in so I can attend the event then move to a "Boondock" location to try and figure out the next step. I hope to get a vehicle strong enough to tour the country with so I can attend Makers Fairs and S.T.E.M. events with the Shark, as it is my only asset at this time. I do have a job that barely pays my bills and daily needs but does not allow any savings at all. I can make money to eat but I have no place to live and no way to get my few things out of here. Any help at all would be appreciated as I have sold the few things I had that were worth anything and am still a good $3000 away from getting a decent vehicle. And I really don't want to lose the last of my possessions at the end of the month if I have to hitch-hike out of here and live on the street.
