My Name is Ranger Sharky Baxter

I am the Senior Marine life Ranger for Marine life Rangers and Part of SHARK LAB SYDNEY which we just added to our education unit .We have had a bad spell of Shark Attacks here in Sydney and other parts of NSW

but it has been the last few right here in Sydney that has prompted me to get a better Drone System up and running to show it can be done using AI and better drones .The autonomous system could be flying from Sunrise til Sunset and be programmed to fly any route you decide to have it fly .The system can also be for emergency use also when needed . This System when flying will be able to help spot a Shark and hover above and activate a siren and message to swimmers or surfers below warning them of a marine creature near by .The Drone would also track above the shark making it easy for Lifeguards /lifesavers to know the exact location to attend and make noise to move the shark on .We have reached out to a USA company who are doing a lot of R&D already with this tech .The difference in this Drone system is that its autonomous and will not require an operator all the time but an operator will be on standby for any issues that might require interventions like taking the drone off its normal flight pattern to assist with another Shark spotting by Life guards ect

The Done system is a very robust one with its own base unit fully water proof and secure .The Drone launches and flys and returns to its base and charges its batteries automatically each time .This drone type can take more wind and also fly in Rain something the ones being used now can't .We are not funded by Government and are self funded as best we can .I was going to just get this project paid for myself but after the last attack here on Manly beach so many people reached out and asked how they can help which I found touching .I feel now it can become a community project and we can show the State government we can make it happen and we will make it happen .I strongly believe swimmers and surfers deserve better preventive measures like this AI drone system .We will never stop Shark Attacks while we humans go into the ocean but we can do better trying to prevent attacks . I thank you for taking the time to read this project proposal .I also know a lot of businesses have asked how they can help this project as well and look forward to them being part of this project . My thoughts go out to the families and friends of those who have been affected by the recent Shark attacks and feel this project is in honour of them .
