Dear friends and family,

it is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of Shari Swift Gidney. She was 46 years old.

They-meaning anyone- will tell you that you should prepare for death. Death is inevitable. No one is too good to beat it. Well Shari deserved to, if anyone. She brightened the lives of so many with her belly laugh, sense of humor, and selfless means of carrying herself.

She was so rare. Heaven truly gained an angel to be reckoned with- in the best way.

as you can imagine, her son Logan was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. He is beyond devastated. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you will show your support!

Logan and Shari were extremely close. Shari lived for him!! She was Logan’s guiding star and he is struggling beyond words with this loss.

one of Shari’s proudest moments was when Logan and his best friend Trevor enrolled in college. She was so proud of them, their new apartment and thirst to graduate with a degree together.

Shari entrusted Trevor’s mom, Rina, to see him through. That’s a promise that she gladly took on for Shari many years ago.

As for me, I’m Shari’s best friend from age 5. I will forever be her reflection and spread her light!
