I am writing on behalf of my cousin Alicia (Ali) Whiskey who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Ali is a single young mother of three beautiful children; her son, Jaquan and her two beautiful daughters Soniya and Alayna. She has been doing hair all her life but within the last year or so she opened her own salon to provide for her family.
Six months ago, Ali developed a cough. She went to the doctor and was given antibiotics for pneumonia. The cough continued even after finishing the medicine. Nothing seemed to work. A month or so ago she went to the doctor for the third time and insisted on taking an xray to see if she could get to the bottom of this. This is when the doctors revealed the cancer diagnosis. Through the midst of it all, Ali has remained positive.
After taking an MRI, the doctor says it has spread to her liver, spine, and hip. We are trusting God for complete healing and to continue to provide in the midst of this storm.
Ali has had to move out of her home, which had mold, and is currently focused on receiving treatment. This has left a tremendous financial void as she has had to take a step back from her only source of income.
I am asking that you donate to help offset costs (medical/hospital expenses, food, bills, everyday care of children).
We thank you in advance for your generosity and positive thoughts. Most of all we thank you for keeping her and her family lifted in prayer.
