Sharing Joey's Care

Greetings - We are Suzanne and Jim Halvorson and are fund-m raising for Joey Forney's care. Our friend Jack Forney passed away unexpectantly on March 25. Jack was a master jeweler, a beloved grandfather and dedicated father. But most of all he was the husband, caretaker, chief cook, and bottle washer for his wife, Joey.

Joey has for years been physically hampered by the effects of Multiple Sclerosis and relied on Jack for her care. She was recently hospitalized with Covid, then pneumonia and was transferred to rehab when Jack suffered a heart attack and died.

We are seeking financial assistance to help Joey as she returns home. Her home has to be adapted and equipt to allow her to navigate independently. Joey will need home health care and ongoing physical therapy. Also, charges in excess of insurance for both Jack and Joey's s hospitalizations need to be paid.
