Hello my name is Samia. My beautiful daughter Sanija was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma May 15, 2021. T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma is a form of Lymphoid Leukemia and can be found in the blood, bone marrow, tissues, and the mediastinal lymph nodes. The doctors at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) discovered Sanija had an inoperable tumor behind her heart that was pressing on her lungs and causing them to fill with fluid. Upon further examination, it was determined that Sanija's cancer had spread to her kidneys, liver, and spine. As the doctors conducted more tests on Sanija's prognosis, it was revealed that she also has a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis. Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to form in the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Sanija has Type 1 Neurofibromatosis which causes bone deformities, learning disabilities, high blood pressure, hearing and vision loss, difficulty with balance, and chronic pain throughout the body. The cards have really been stacked up against Sanija, but she is a fighter and has remained optimistic throughout this whole ordeal. 



When I thought that things could not get any worse, our landlord decided to sell our home which in turn left us homeless. My three children and I have been homeless for the past four months. We are living in a cramped one bedroom hotel room. I have been actively looking for a house, but the inventory for homes is very scarce and most landlords are requiring a sizable security deposit which I am unable to afford.


I pray everyday for the health of my children and that there will be a positive light at the end of the tunnel for us.


I am asking if you could please provide whatever financial assistance you can to help us with a security deposit for a house and prayers for strength and encouragement for my family during this most difficult time. We are extremely grateful for anything you are able to do to assist us.
