Hi, my name is Michele Larkin and I am fundraising on behalf of my nephews, Benjamin and Zacharie. Shari, their mother and my sister, passed away on April 13, 2024 after a short but very difficult battle with esophageal cancer. Shari loved the view of the St-Lawrence River from her home in Glen Walter, Ontario, where she raised her boys over the last 20 years.

Ben and Zach would like to purchase a park bench with a memorial plaque in Shari's memory from the Township of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry to be located in the local parc along the bike path across the street from Shari's place. It's a place where people stop to picnic, read, and just sit to enjoy the waterfront vista. The sun sets are especially beautiful and were a source of joy, calm and pleasure for Shari from her front porch.
