Shari Huber here! I present to you an opportunity to join me in helping many people find mental health and spiritual peace.
In August 2020, at age 59, God re-routed my decades-long career as an accounting clerical in an entirely different and unexpected direction. He asked me to become a mental health counselor, using my Christian faith as the foundation.
It is a great and sobering honor to help those who need God’s guidance, encouragement, and rescue from the chaos and suffering this world can bring. This honor has “hands and feet” for me in the form of college. I am, Lord willing, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Counseling at South Florida Bible College (SFBC) and hope to receive my diploma by May 2025.
As I enter my 3rd year at SFBC, the funds raised through this campaign will allow me to focus entirely on school courses unhindered by full-time work, maintain my current Honor Roll status, and graduate without delays.
The need for counselors in our society is increasing at an alarming rate. All who pursue this profession are sorely needed sooner than later. Pro-Bono service will play an integral part in my work to “pay it forward.”
