Help Sharen Bradford, Beloved Dance Photographer, with Medical Bills
For decades, Sharen Bradford has dedicated her life to capturing the beauty, power, and grace of dancers through her lens. As the founder of The Dancing Image, Sharen has been a vibrant presence in the dance community—her photographs preserving the passion, artistry, and movement of countless performers across generations.
Now, Sharen needs our help.
A Time of Need
In recent months, Sharen has faced serious health challenges that have impacted her ability to work. Despite her strength and determination, her medical issues have required ongoing treatments, hospital visits, and specialized care—all of which come with mounting medical expenses. As a self-employed artist, Sharen doesn’t have the safety net of paid leave and the financial burden has quickly become overwhelming.
Why She Needs Us
Sharen has given so much to the world through her photography. Her work has not only documented dance but celebrated it. She’s been there backstage, in rehearsal rooms, onstage, and in studios—quietly supporting the dance community with her talent and eye for truth in motion.
Now, it's our turn to show up for her.
How You Can Help
We’re raising funds to help Sharen cover:
Ongoing medical treatments and therapies
Prescription medications and health-related expenses
Living costs while she recovers and is unable to work
Every dollar counts. Whether you’re a dancer who’s been moved by her photography, a fan of the arts, or someone who believes in lifting up others in tough times—your support will make a real difference.
Let’s Come Together for Sharen
Sharen has always been behind the camera, helping others shine. Let’s put the spotlight on her now and surround her with the compassion and care she deserves.
Please donate, share, and help spread the word. With your support, we can help Sharen focus on healing, not on bills.
With gratitude,
Friends of Sharen
