I’ve created a fundraiser to support my mum, Alyce, who’s been and currently still in Thailand since early Jan undergoing chemotherapy and integrative treatments for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. This has been an ongoing battle for mum since 2018 when she was first diagnosed, since then she has defied all odds against her and has jumped every hurdle that has come along in her journey.

 

Mum has fortunately found an alternative treatment that she’s comfortable with and isn’t harsh however for such treatments it’s expensive. I won’t go into details of the costs but you can imagine with any sort of cancer treatment its ridiculously expensive and draining, especially when alternative treatments are sought out.

 

Since having this treatment, the cancer in her lungs, T1 disc and certain parts of her liver have disappeared & ribs.

However, at the moment, her cancer is still in her sternum, femur, tail bone, and a large portion of her liver. Her white blood cell count is close to being nonexistent and her liver is our biggest concern as that’s where the mass of the cancer is. Due to her white blood cell count being so low she’s not only unable to undergo treatment according to the treatment plan but she is more susceptible to infectious diseases and compromising her immune system.

 

I’m not one to ask for things from people but this one time I’m asking for support from friends, family, even strangers to help with mums treatment and staying costs in Thailand.
