SHARE YOUR ALOHA & SUPPORT FOR TONI SYMONS

On Sunday June 7, 2020, my Dad also known as Uncle Shane to all of my friends,  my Mom's rock of 38 years passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack while at home. It was a peaceful, Sunday afternoon, just as they spent every Sunday; after a long week of work. Watching TV and enjoying the rain while my Mom prepared his special Sunday dinner. They had such a love story. She is devastated and is trying to be strong for her grand babies and me, who he loved so much.  It was just the two of them, and now she is alone. Unfortunately, they did not plan, they just lived their life thinking they had forever so he had no life insurance.  Mom used to say she was his life insurance because she always thought she would go first. God had other plans.

We would like to have his Celebration of Life in August and many of you have expressed to my Mom that you want to help, so here I am asking. She  will have expenses from the ambulance and other medical expenses, any funds raised will be used for that first.  As usual, it is hard for my Mom to ask for anything. It is much easier for her to give, as she and my Dad did for years to our community.  Please assist if you can and know that we are all deeply grateful for any support.

My Mom is taking it hard but I know she will be most happy, returning to work and helping homeless families and those fleeing domestic violence. This is her purpose for her community now and my Dad would be so proud to see her continue.
