Sharing with Sherri (Sherri and Brian Gross)
Donation protected
I am writing to ask for help for a long time friend, Sherri Gross. Sherri and Brian raised their 3 children in Poolesville. Her youngest son, Stefan, and my son, Andrew, became friends in elementary school which spurred my friendship with Sherri. Sherri and her husband, Brian, are in need of our help during trying times. Sherri was diagnosed with liver cancer in March and is unable to continue working as a third grade teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary, in Germantown. Sherri is one of the kindest, most loving, and supportive people I know. Please join me by returning some of that love by "Sharing with Sherri" via GoFundMe as she and her family deal with this health issue. Donations will go towards Sherri's medical costs and other expenses. Any donation large or small will be very appreciated. To help get the word out, please consider sharing this link through your social media sites and via email or word of mouth. Thank you in advance for considering helping Sherri. GoFundMe is very safe but if for any reason you prefer to contribute directly to me or to Sherri, please send me a private message.
I am writing this update with much sadness. Sherri lost her battle with cancer on July 3. Her positive attitude, strength, and courage were so remarkable. She always had a smile, even during my last visit with her when she was so weak. I will never forget that sweet, sweet smile. The family will still benefit from our thoughts, prayers, and financial support.
