Hello, and welcome again!
It has been one heck of a long year since last year's event, "Christmas Fundraiser 2019" (in collaboration with my cousin, Piotr Woltman), but we are back at it again to help. I was very pleased and humbled at how well last year's fundraiser turned out, and I would like to thank you all so much who contributed in any way shape or form. I am sure that the orphanage in Poland is absolutely loving their new Desktop Computer and surely for years to come!
2020 has been a challenging year for most, if not all, to say the least. I believe we will get through these difficult times once and for all, but we must continue to work together and take care of each other whenever need be. That being said, I have decided to continue with the tradition of 'giving back' to someone in need. I would like to introduce to you, "Making Spirits Bright 2020"; a fundraiser I have started for my good friend, Andrew "Astro" Hartley, in collaboration with his sister, Cathy Hartley.

Andrew and I have been friends for about 3 years now, and has been suffering from the effects of Lyme Disease for almost 5 years. This degenerative disease is relentless, and have only seen him get more progressively frail ever since we first met. Lyme Disease is fairly new to Canada, so unfortunately it is very difficult for him to get the proper care and treatment to hopefully overcome this terrible illness. There are a few treatment centres in the U.S that specialize in the treatment of this disease, unfortunately, they are also quite costly. On a brighter note, there may be a doctor in Toronto that is able help him, although this will also be quite a costly venture for him.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to assist Andrew (aka, Astro) in any way possible for him to get the proper treatment he needs and deserves. Whether it may be domestically, or abroad, we will achieve to help our friend with his road to recovery through your kind donations and support. 100% of the money raised will go to assist with the cost of flights, medicine, lodging, local transportation, food, etc.
In tradition, I will kindly refuse any and all gifts this season, and would rather prefer for you to donate to this cause instead. Any and all money left over after treatment will be donated to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation (CanLyme - www.canlyme.com).
