Help Share My Story Of Hope & Healing

Donation protected
What if you were told if you went swimming or to the snow you’d die. That you had a rare autoimmune disease. That there was no cure for this condition.

Would you live your life in fear? Powerless that at any moment a breeze or air-conditioning might set you off in hives.

This is my story.

A huge proportion of life lived in deep fear.

And then the ultimate liberation.

In January 2024 I travelled to the snow in Japan. This was my first experience of the snow in 22 years after being told if I went to the snow it would kill me. I decided the experience needed to be documented.

And I’m so glad I did, because it was absolutely euphoric.

When I was 18 I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, a condition that I was told there was no cure.

In 2002 I went swimming at Minnamurra River, on the South Coast of NSW and went into anaphylactic shock. I was told I had a rare autoimmune disease called Cold Urticaria and that if I went swimming or to the snow I would die.

Experiencing the snow having had that diagnosis was liberating beyond words. The most freeing experience of my life.

A feeling I want for everyone.

The mind and body have incredible capacity to heal when we give them the conditions to do so. I am making this documentary to make a significant contribution to the body of knowledge that exists around the mind body connection and the cutting edge science in that area.

There is so much power in hope, and in storytelling. Hope was hugely important in my own healing, and I’d love to visually share a story of what the mind and body are capable of overcoming.

I’d love to invite you to co-create this with me. Any amount that you can contribute to help document the whole experience would be hugely appreciated.

Thank-you for your kindness and support.

I’m so excited to share this documentary with you, and to inspire you that you are the creator of your life, your healing is within you and your life can be extraordinary.
