For Micah - Comfort for Babies in the Hospital
Donation protected
Although short, Micah’s life was incredibly impactful. As her dad says, Micah preached a sermon with her life. Even while she was in the hospital, it was very evident that Micah was loved. Nurses dressed her in sweet little outfits, complete with matching bows. One kind doctor even bought her clothes just so she could shine in photos we now treasure. Micah’s constant companion was a little WubbaNub cow pacifier that we named Oscar. With Oscar, it was love at first sight. He was her best friend and stayed with her through every moment.
When we visited Micah in the hospital, we were always aware that she wasn’t the only child in need of comfort and love. In her memory, we want to serve some of the children in NICU/PICU at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We would like to donate baby clothes and WubbaNub pacifiers—so every child can feel that same comfort and have their own “Oscar” to love. We consider this a way for us to extend the love of Jesus and to share Micah's legacy with children and families who need a reminder that they are not alone. If you’d like to be part of this effort, we’d be honored to have you walk with us.
If you’d like to participate, you may purchase these items on your own and bring them to the memorial service or make your contribution here. The proceeds from this campaign will be used to purchase these items on your behalf and you will be informed of the final tally of what we're able to donate to the hospital.
Please see directions from the hospital prior to purchasing items on your own:
All donated items must be brand new and recently purchased (tags on or in original packaging). We cannot accept any items containing glitter or latex.
Please bring the following items with you to the memorial service on March 29th, 2025 or donate to this campaign by April 15th, 2025.
