We are a collective of artists, teachers, and pottery enthusiasts coming together to create Community ClayWorks, a nonprofit pottery studio in the heart of downtown Wenatchee. This will be more than just a studio—it will be a vibrant space for creativity, connection, and collaboration.

Who We Are

Community ClayWorks is in the process of securing 501(c)(3) non-profit status to ensure that our studio remains a sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven space. Our mission is to provide an accessible environment where artists of all backgrounds and skill levels can explore the art of pottery, engage in creative expression, and build meaningful connections.

Our Vision

To bring this vision to life, we are raising $50,000 to equip the studio with everything a community of potters need: multiple wheels, a slab roller, hand-building tools, a variety of glazing options, and kilns to fire finished pieces. Every detail is designed to provide an inspiring, accessible space where people of all skill levels can thrive.

Community ClayWorks will offer extended open studio hour access, workshops, and structured classes, ensuring accessibility for all schedules. We’ll host gallery events and showcases where members and students can share their work with the broader community. Additionally, our scholarship options will ensure that financial barriers do not prevent participation.

By establishing this nonprofit pottery studio in downtown Wenatchee, we’re creating a central gathering place where people can come together to learn, create, and grow. More than just a studio, this will be a hub for connection—a place to share ideas, collaborate, and build a thriving creative community.
