Help Shao Bring Saxy Back

I am a professional jazz musician, saxophonist, and culture/streetlife photographer from the state of Washington who has been traveling internationally with only my backpack and my saxophone. To fund my travel, food, and board I perform for the streets, patios, and bars from country to country.

In the wee morning of March 1st, in Barcelona, I had all of my belongings stripped of me in the dead of the night consisting of my rare, one of a kind, and sentimental 1936 Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone(as well as my rare mouthpiece from the same era), my clothing, my performance speaker, my rolls of film in which I have shooting for an extended photography project, my laptop with all of my film photography scans stored on it as well as a long list of other small valuables/items of extreme sentiment.

I later found a trail of my socks and small clothing leading to a dumpster a few blocks away where, to my absolute horror, I found my saxophone case smashed and empty and most of my clothing in the dumpster and seemingly intentionally covered in urine.

All in one fellow swoop I have lost my job, passion, peace of mind, and the clothing off of my back, being left without money in a country that speaks another language on the opposite side of the world.

To make matters worse, I will be an illegal immigrant by March 24th if I do not find my way outside of the European Schengen Agreement so I must find my way multiple countries away to Croatia to avoid deportation and future immigration issues.

At the moment, I need to get a few new changes of clothing, food, a hostel, a new pack, transportation out of the schengen area, and hopefully a functioning (semiprofessional) saxophone and speaker to go onward in my travels and be able to provide for myself again.

Overall in my pack I lost over $6000 worth of equipment and not to mention the irreplaceable sentiment of many of my pieces of art, my photography, and my unique 100 year old instrument that I view as my life partner. Thus, I am attempting to raise $2000 in order to cover my food/stay, my transport into safety(and legality), and to get a replacement gear to get my life back on track.
