Shanti’s Spinal Surgery

We are Emily and Lucy and we started this page for our sister Shanti. She has a large tumor in her spine and is looking at a high-risk surgery in the near future to try to remove and biopsy it. The outcome is still uncertain, but there is a risk of paralysis from the waist down. Regardless of the outcome, she has a long road to recovery ahead of her and she will need whatever financial help she can get. 

We are hoping this page will raise funds to help support Shanti and her girls during this scary time and to help cover some of the expenses she may need post surgery. 

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Shanti is a very special person and we know she has brought love and light to so many of your lives. This a real and tangible way to show her our love and support during this difficult time.
