Shanti - Aid & education for women

We are in the process of setting up a new charity, Shanti, to support domestic violence and abuse victims. Supporting and guiding these women to become independent, confident & empowered.

We're asking for an initial sum of £10,000 to cover set up cost for the charity. This includes professional advice & administration costs (office/IT/supplies). We will be giving our time to run the service at no cost until additional funding applications have been secured to pay for salaries. (At this time the donations will be kept in a seperate and audited personal bank account until an account can be opened for the charity itself. Due to the current impact of Covid-19 this is taking much longer than usual. The moment this is done the funds contributed will go into the new Shanti charity account. Once the charity is live we will be working with a range of women to support them in a variety of ways. Such as guidance and support to overcome Domestic Violence & Abuse. We will also be offering access to services such as training courses and solicitors to assist these women in become more independent. We are a group of empowered women empowering women and will perpetuate this through our outreach service.
