Hey! I'm Kerri Morse and am creating a GFM page for Shantee Weseman on behalf of her family. Shantee and I met when we were in high school. She was 15 and I was 16 and we have kept our friendship going since then! Truthfully, she's one of my bffs and more like a soul sister to me even though we live four hours away from each other.
As y'all know, Shantee is the first person to reach out if anyone needs help or support. It's just one of the many reasons we love about our girl! Sadly, on Friday, April 7, 2023, Shantee suffered a massive stroke. It was at that time it was discovered that she is also diabetic. She was released from the hospital Wednesday, April 12, and is now home resting and recuperating with the help of her son, Chris, and extended family and friends. Shantee did not have insurance and could use some help from all of us. She's going to need extensive speech therapy, rehab, and other treatments for high blood pressure and this new found diabetic condition. Obviously, the costs of these things can cause a huge financial strain on anyone. Funds raised will be used to help with medical bills, therapies, medications as well as day-to-day living expenses.
As I said before, anyone who knows Shantee, knows she would be the first one to help in time of need. We are also asking for prayers and good thoughts as she goes through this fight.
