On December 1, 2015, heaven gained an extraordinary angel.





Everyone that was fortunate enough to meet Shanntavia Whitener, knew what an exceptional woman she was. First and foremost, she loved her family more than anything. She was a beloved wife to her husband of 8 years, Jeffery, and a Mother to their five children.Not only was she very naturing, she also made it a priority to give back to her community. She made a point to give back to her local school system (Mooresville City Schools) to further make a difference in the classroom and community. She took great pride in giving back, and these are values that she has instilled into her five children.




There are going to be many costs that Jeffery and the family are going to incur now after her passing. Unfortunately, the family is going to be experiencing unexpected medical bills, funeral costs, and other expenses due to the sudden circumstances. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked if you would so kindly donate any amount you can to help them get through this difficult time. Every penny is appreciated.

Shanntavia lit up every room with her contagious smile, her generous soul, and her wonderful spirit. She touched so many lives in her short lifetime, and she will truly be missed.
