At the beginning of this year I experienced a mild stroke (left sided lacunar ischemic stroke). This came as a big shock as I am freshly 26, healthy, active, and have a very normal health history. The cause is still unknown but the medical bills are for certain.

It is an incredibly vulnerable place to be asking for financial help but to reiterate I am freshly 26. This for me means I was not covered by my parent's insurance plan when this wildly unexpected event took place.

I was in Barrow Neurological Institute for three days. I underwent a multitude of complicated tests and procedures (blood tests, heart ultrasounds, MRI's, etc.). I will have ongoing therapy, visits with specialists, and much more time off work than I am able to financially withstand alone.

I never imagined having to ask for help like this, but so many people have asked how they can help and right now this is honestly what I need the most. I am so grateful for the outpouring of love and support, and it helped me get to where I am right now, and your continued encouragement means the world to me.
