Hi everyone
For those of you who don’t know last April my best friend Lucy unexpectedly took ill and was admitted to Dumfries hospital. Where we were soon told she was in heart failure and rushed to The Glasgow jubilee hospital Lucy was admitted to NSD at the jubilee which is the ward where patients with advanced heart failure and transplant patients are looked after.
Lucy was shortly told she would unfortunately need a heart transplant from there spent several weeks in there, the team went above and beyond to make sure she was going to be home with us and what an excellent job they did.
The staff at the jubilee not only took tremendous care of our precious girl but they made sure everyone around her was never short of support and Information.
Most people will think that after her discharge she no longer attends there but the team at Glasgow still go above and beyond for Lucy and there care to this day is nothing short of excellent they are so careful and never miss a single thing.
which is such a relief to know she does and always will be in the correct hands and i really could never thank them enough i appreciate every single day I spend with Lucy and I am so grateful of her donor , their family and most importantly the care from the jubilee.
I have always wanted to push myself in life but never as much as I do now after realising life really is so precious and you NEVER know what tomorrow might bring and for this reason I have decided to push myself even further and complete a skydive and with the funds raised I would like to donate them to the jubilee and help purchase things that will help the ward that looked after our whole entire life, our Lou ❤️
I am so grateful for any support you give and I will take great pride in giving back to those who gave us Lucy safe and well .
thank you for reading
